Well my first week here is over and I'm just grateful I got through it. There's definitely a learning curve when it comes to this mortal business. I was so used to just manifesting anything and everything I needed. It took me a couple of days to understand you need skills and these things called Simoleans to bring about that which you desire.
Then there was the issue of where to get these Simoleans. That took a day or two as well. I kept noticing embedded crystals, mounds of dirt, and flowers while I was walking around the neighborhood, so one day I decided to extract those crystals, dig up those mounds, and harvest some of the flowers to see what I could do with them. It turns out I could sell those things!
I decided to plant some of the flowers so I didn't have to keep running over to them every time they regrew. I also took up fishing and began selling the fish I caught. Turns out I really enjoy fishing!
By the third day I was able to erect a tiny room - just big enough to fit my bed and fridge. It's been raining a lot here and it was making the fridge break every few minutes.
Towards the end of the week, I kept hearing all these people talk about Love Day. I wasn't quite sure what it was, but everyone was excited about it and it sounded lovely. I decided to go out on the town and explore a bit more and try to experience it a little myself.
I went to a local bar in town where I met the nicest people. There was this one man in particular that caught my eye - J Huntington III. Boy was he handsome. And charming! We danced, we talked, and he bought me my first alcoholic drink. It made my head feel funny, but I kind of liked it. The night got away from us and the next thing I knew, we were Woo Hooing in the bathroom! I was nervous at first, not knowing what to expect, but it was an altering experience. I'm not going to lie, I'm looking forward to making these twelve conduits now that I know how it's done.
Here's me and J after that lovely evening. I hope we stay good friends.
