Earth Bound

Earth - Day 1

I felt a rush of energy rage through my body as the hot white light overtook me. My breath was stolen from me and I could feel every cell and particle that made me who I am tingle as they transformed. I'm not sure how long the whole process took, but it felt like seconds.

When I finally felt everything turn back to normal, I mustered up the courage to take a deep breath and slowly open my eyes. I gasped at what I saw. I was actually on Earth. I'm not sure where - everything was so small from my vantage all these millenia, but there was no doubt it was Earth.

I found myself sitting on a large plot of grass surrounded by trees and water. A large fountain was dancing in the distance. While looking around, I noticed the essentials the Elementals had spoken about: a simple bed, an old fridge, a shower, a sink, and a small garbage bin. They failed to mention they were not providing me with shelter. Funny how they left that out. Where was I to get that from? Build it myself?! Ugh. I have a lot to learn about living on Earth.

Looking at were my only possessions now, I was filled with dread and fear. Had I made the right decision? Do I really want to give up what I had? And then as if he could hear me, the sun broke through the clouds I hadn't even noticed and shone brightly down on me, warming me from the inside out. I closed my eyes and lifted my head up to him and smiled as brightly and as warmly as he was. Yes. Yes I definitely made the right decision.

Rey del Sol

Gemma's little one aged up. I was finally able to get them over to play with his cousin and have a little photo shoot in my new studio...
